the title says it all

When LBC are trying to decide on what movie to see, we occasionally reach an impasse. She wants to see the latest mega blockbuster, crappy reviews be damned (Spiderman 3, Cloverfield, etc.), and I have an adverse reaction by making a beeline for the buzzed-about indie films of the moment (The Aristocrats, Donnie Darko, etc.). This past weekend, when LBC started making noises about the mutually appealing, but sure-to-be-overcrowded Quantum of Solace, my eyes instinctively darted to what was playing at the Kendall, my local art house theater. I started to read, Religulous, Synecdoche, New York, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
“No,” said LBC. I stopped. We had seen the preview last week, but even the poster in the theater lobby had been ominous. “I know,” I said, “With a title like that, why even bother? You know how it ends.”
Next item in the listings: Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Hmmm.
