I was going through my keychain notebook and found something I had scribbled down while LBC and I were watching the news a few weeks ago, trying to determine if Game 3 of the ALCS was going to be rained out. At the time, the Sox were down 2-0 to the Yankees and the talk of the town was the shortage of flu shots. Channel 7 was interviewing senior citizens who had lined up at a supermarket to receive free shots. One lady said to the reporter, “I’d give up my flu shot for a Red Sox ticket to tonight’s game.”
